Another great new voice on the Chattanooga music scene is Stratton Tingle, frontman for Antebellum.

This rock group sometimes combines upright bass & banjo with electronic keyboards and guitars to go from Tex-Mex traditional flavored tunes all the way to goth-punk angst within one song. Add in syncopated video art and truly solid tunesmithing and You get one of the most dynamic cross genera bands ever to come out of the Chattanooga region.

Their live performances have shown dynamic stage presence and a real connection with audiences that bring about enthusiastic responses every time.  Also is the mysterious number of myspace plays that they sometimes have going into the hundreds  per day.  This is something that any band this new on any local scene needs to scramble to figure out how to do.  I’m looking for lots more surprises from this group.

Be sure to get a copy of their excellent new 5 song E.P. at the show.
