Rebellious to the point of violence against all things FCC compliant, This set of recordings causes fans of modern hard rock to bound away from their static technological mental lockdown and embrace something that has been missing, which is the sheer spine tingling soul and energetic high tension deliverance whenever front man & vocalist Eric Scealf lets all the angst, anger, passion and of sonic upheaval of a renegade 21st century pariah rip forth with surprisingly musical hooks and gripping subject matter.

Nearly everything that has attracted the hard rock audiences of the last ten years has been distilled into its pure essence in The Unsatisfied’s  recordings.  Their phenomenally athletic stage show proving genuine live credibility for  this intense and  group of recordings.  With endless energy, their song writing is truly a draw in itself, developing a clutch of “converts” rather than mere fans to their sonic approach in which all the bedlam and Armageddon is corralled by the solid musical hooks present in every song.  This is a barely controlled scenario like watching a tiger surging after it’s prey.  One can experience the danger and power of total psychic and emotional release, all the anger and violence of the modern man’s common rage is somehow shaped into a heavily layered symphonic effect of slamming power chords and impossibly ripping yet tonally spot on primal screams.” By  combining elements of swing into the punk rock whiplashing,  the band keeps this music danceable and somehow even melodic throughout all the thrashing guitar and the anesthesia of thumping  bass lines.

If You feel your radio audience is becoming bored or complacent this is the antidote.  Each CD is a theatrical presentation building steadily into the kind of workout that everyone realizes they need, music meant to be listened to either alone or in massive slam dancing parties.   Finding Unsatisfied songs that are “Radio Safe” has been abandoned in favor of the most chilling set of adrenaline surge inducing rock songs imaginable.    In looking for the appropriate broadcast songs I have to recommend a very slight surgical removal of a couple of common expletives electronically replaced with synonyms.     Those most geared toward radio airplay being tracks.
