The Unsatisfied, The south’s most genuine hard rock glam punk thrash band have been at it for over 20 years. To celebrate and get pumped for their upcoming tour booking season You can listen to this special collection of songs that the radio stations are too scared to play from two of their previous full length albums, “Real Gone Paleface” and “Seven Inch Rock Scar.”

Contact us through our Booking section if You are a venue that is serious about bringing The Unsatisfied to your city.

To start with are six songs from The Unsatisfied’s 1999 debut full length CD
“Real Gone Paleface” You can listen to these songs here But if You want your own copy of the CD’s contact the band through www.Myspace.com/TheUnsatisfied or get a copy at one of their shows.

Next are a couple of songs from The Unsatisfied’s classic “Seven Inch Rock Scar” After listening to this incredible rock album dozens of times straight through I tried selecting a few songs for this podcast/special and it was very difficult not to select them all. I have decided to limit this selection to two songs because of the rock opera nature of “Seven Inch Rock Scar,” which was named in honour of an onstage performance accident in which Singer and front Man Eric Scealf snapped his Achilles tendon while opening up for “The Misfits,” and still finished out the set propped up by members of both bands. The “rolling straight through to armageddon” nature of this CD works best by listening to the whole album straight through. There is some hard to grapple with material in the album. One particularly misunderstood song “Ocultist” brings shivers to the spine and all songs severely bash the senses with that rock anaesthesia that we have all been looking for from time to time. You absolutely MUST obtain a copy of “Seven Inch Rock Scar” from the band. It is one of the most complete, unified and powerful works of punk rock artistry to come out of the entire movement.

So Crank up your speakers really loud and enjoy some real uncompromising rock!

It’s Possible that even The Crimea from the UK are coming onboard for a bit. Davey MacManus himself called from Somewhere in Britain the other day to confirm a show date with Ana Lola Roman at NYC’s Cake Shop and inform us of his east coast/west coast tour plans. After checking out their astounding global approach to rock we are interested in helping them out a bit with shows here in the USA. For a great introduction to The Crimea see this amazing article http://www.immortalsoon.co.uk/archive/788 Their concert festival experience in China is good for laughter as well as cross cultural intrigue. Stay tuned for more info on The Crimea in America as it develops.

Having been known as underground icons in the punk and gothic scenes for many years, the Unsatisfied began to enjoy wide U.S. and European distribution with their third full-length album, “The Way To The Crumbs” on Antidote Records, which was released November 2006. The Unsatisfied are one of those genuine rarities of raw rock and roll, live band energy, precision, and dangerous punk rock. “Once you’ve seen them live you’ll know why any musician can appreciate and respect what they represent— an amalgam of Iggy Pop, the Rolling Stones, Prince, and the Cramps. It’s rock and roll and they like it.” – C. Braly, The Chattanooga Pulse. Strange, twisted, yet intelligent songs. And Eric Scealf. the leader, is almost over the top weird when on stage. Get a taste of what the band is capable of, and it makes your hair stand on end. No audience ever forgets a show by The Unsatisfied. Be prepared for loud, high energy rock ‘n roll ecstasy.
